3rd Level Server Support Engineer
Seeking several Server Engineers to provide 3rd Level support to a large national IT Organisation working with various government clients.
We have an opportunity for talented 3rd Level Server Engineers to join our client's dynamic, successful and growing organisation here in Canberra.
As part of your responsibilities you will be required to:
- Efficiently work through the Incident Management System to allocate, receive and complete work.
- Undertake maintenance and management tasks as per customer contracted scopes of work.
- Liaise with external vendors where required to ensure timely resolution of hardware / software issues.
Required Certifications and Skills
- Knowledge of server operating systems e.g. Microsoft Server, Unix (AIX, SunOS, HPUX, Linux);
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies eg. Citrix, VMWare, Sharepoint, SQL, Active Directory
- Knowledge of infrastructure (DHCP, DNS, ISA, Exchange), networking (IP Addressing, routing, network topologies) and storage management and backup systems (Veritas, TSM, NetApp, Commvault); and
- Knowledge of Server hardware systems
